MEET THE BAND
JAYME KANTOR - VOCALS
Jayme's passion for music, singing and performing started the moment she could climb up onto the piano bench. Since then, singing and performing in various bands, choirs, ensembles, and musical endeavors has been a big part of her life. She's performed all types of music in venues ranging from backyards and bars to the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. She enjoys everything about singing and is excited to share her passion with you!
KURT LOHMAN - DRUMS, VOCALS
A founding member of the popular Maryland band, Electric Sky in the 1980s-1990s. Kurt moved to Austin, Texas, joined the American Federation of Musicians and played for 13-years with the legendary, Toby Anderson and his party band. Kurt was invited to play live with Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones for a couple shows during Wood's "Slide On Live" solo tour in 1993. You can find Kurt credited on Ronnie Wood's "Slide on Live" album. Rock solid drumming, big vocals and a great sense of humor are all part of the Kurt package.
ANDRIJA SKOPAC - BASS
Andrija, a native Croatian, has been controlling the low end since early nineties. While living in Croatia he played everything from punk-rock, folk-rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock to post-rock. Eventually he decided to ditch the prefixes and just play rock. Over time he managed to play from small, dive bar stages, to big, open air concerts with large crowds. Rumor has it, his wife may be the primary reason for coming to America but, we're sure Benfield Rush is a close second.
DON SPARROW - KEYBOARDS, VOCALS
MIKE McCLARE - GUITAR, VOCALS
Mike is from upstate New York were the winters are long, the beer is good and the accent is almost Canadian. Mike played in several Rochester area bands until 1989... when he put his guitar away to focus on his career and family. 23 years and a 'little' less hair later, Mike had a burning need to return to the fun of music; he pulled out his guitar, knocked the rust off his fingers and helped form Benfield Rush. He's been smiling and having fun ever since! (His wife may have something to do with his smile also...)
